Manually operated self braked winch for basketball goals or net storage pouches which are winched to the ceiling.
This winch has no locking catch - just wind either way to raise or lower and the self braking mechanism prevents any overrun.
This is also suitable for tensioning a regain rope.
These should be fitted at not less than 2m height so as not to present an obstruction and when fitting to a vertical wall the wall bracket will be required as well. For higher lifts an electric winch makes life much easier.
